On Saturday evening, March 1, 2008, Beth Sholom Congregation and Talmud Torah held its annual banquet.  This centennial year, we are delighted to honor our beloved Rabbi,Rabbi Joel Tessler.

Rabbi Tessler has dedicated himself to the Beth Sholom community for the past 25 years.  From a small enclave in Potomac, he built and nurtured a strong community that has tremendously enriched the lives of hundreds of families.  He has enveloped us with his kindness and passion and inspired and uplifted us through his leadership, spirituality, and love for learning Torah. It is Rabbi Tessler’s vision that has created the warm, supportive, open and caring Beth Sholom community that has attracted so many.
